While you're waiting on delivery you might try Deoxit. If that doesn't work, a
half and half mixture of ATF and acetone. I've had good luck freeing up similar
problems with both of them. When trying either one I put moderate back and
forth pressure on the frozen part every time I think about it as well as more
solvent. When I finally detect the slightest movement, I put on more solvent
and more back and forth pressure. It usually starts turning pretty soon after
that.

There may still be a solid dependable "modern" computer augmented sewing
machine with all the current automated aids for sewing.
My wife used one of that brand for many years, and then gave it to our daughter
when I gave her a new one for Xmas. She used the new one for many years until
she died, and now my daughter is sewing on it; having given the first machine
to my grand daughter. The only problem with the second machine, which is
computer controlled via a pc board, was when lightning transients or a voltage
surge destroyed the PC board. I bought a new pc board from a dealer for about
$100 and the machine has been good as new since then.
The brand is Viking, made by Husqvarna in Sweden. The prices range from $3000
to $7000 which explains why many people have never heard of them.
Dealers often demonstrate their "toughness" by sewing two pieces of tin
together.
