You just need to load it. This is another place where a big battery bank is useful, run all night on batteries, queue up your high load jobs during the day when you run the generator. You wouldn't be as upset about 3gal/hr if you were getting that level of work out of it. So run the washer/dryer, stove, etc while charging up the batteries... -Curt

Is there a simpler way to convert 3 phase to single phase, electronic > perhaps? No. But if you have 6/12-wire generator you can wire it zig-zag and get 2/3 the power out of it. Big Bertha, our 45kW propane-fired genny, will do probably 26kW in zig-zag. Still not enough to run the house, since it has electric heat. But we've never needed that. It sucks down 3gal/hour whether it's loaded or not. Way too big for most uses, but not big enough for all. But, the price was right I guess. -- Jim _______________________________________ http://www.okiebenz.com To search list archives http://www.okiebenz.com/archive/ To Unsubscribe or change delivery options go to: http://mail.okiebenz.com/mailman/listinfo/mercedes_okiebenz.com _______________________________________ http://www.okiebenz.com To search list archives http://www.okiebenz.com/archive/ To Unsubscribe or change delivery options go to: http://mail.okiebenz.com/mailman/listinfo/mercedes_okiebenz.com
