At ISU, the WWII Temp housing and Temp buildings lasted until the mid
80s. I had classes in a temp building. Engineering Placement office
was in a 30+ year old temp building, etc.

When I was at Caltech 1967 - 1971, there was a building near the student
houses numbered "T-4", with "T" meaning "temporary". It was built in WWII.
