My brief half hour bike ride this morning turned into a 15 minute ride and a 50
minute walk. I should have stopped to fix the inner tube, but I don't like
sitting in the ditch with the bugs and the recluses, and I didn't have gloves
and don't like getting cut fingers when I find the offending object.

I found a broken/scattered bottle !/4 mile from where I noticed the tire going
flat. Tonight I'll take the tire off and look for glass shards. I hate cutting
a brand new tire with less than 200 miles on it.
