Whew, good detective work. We have a list of things that don't go in the dishwasher and I only just realized I'd put wooden utensils and plates on the list without any reason why. The good Wusthof knives are on the list because they rust if they run through the dishwasher. Angie learned that the hard way, or maybe I did since I had to polish the rust back off. -Curt
