Person backed into my '07 320CDI as SWMBO was pulling into a parking space yesterday. Paint "scuffed" on left rear door and significant dent between rear edge of door and left rear wheel. How can I determine if this black (040) paint is simply enamel like the paint on my '91 350SDL, or does it have clear coat? Rub/polish an area with cleaner on a pad or rag, maybe, and, if the paint easily rubs off onto the pad/rag, it's enamel?
