Pocket the insurance money, and either buy some Paintless Dent Removal tools
and do some learning, or hire the best local PDR guy you can find.
It's amazing what they can do, without stud welders or body filler.
If the paint won't buff out after PDR, well, you can worry about that after the
dent is gone, just make sure the insurance check covers the cost of a proper
paint fix.

I never knew they did hard creases until recently. I wish I'd called one of
them or bought the tools before I cracked the paint on the right fender of my
2017 Chevy two weeks ago. My creased fender is probably still fixable with PDR
tools but the paint has already been cracked loose and it's impossible to
match/blend metallic paint so it'll always be visible to some extent.
