We finally had a warm day without rain and I worked on my transmission problem. The wiring traced out okay. I drove around the block until the engine warmed up, then floored it. The engine went to 5000 rpm and the tranny stayed in second. As soon as I let up on the gas, the transmission shifted and has been fine ever since. Did a 200 mile trip yesterday on both highway and through rural Ohio - it's like nothing ever happened. I had replaced the transmission filter and filled it with M-1 when I had the engine out - about 3000 miles ago. Is this a sign of trouble to come, or just a fluke?
