Rick, In addition to what others have written (below), it also is dependent on the quality/condition of the barrels of the two guns and the quality differences in the bullets that you are using in each. Regards, Addison (who shoots both)

When I shoot with a revolver I have a very tight pattern, good aim, etc. Using a semi auto pistol, I do okay, but not nearly as tight a grouping as with revolvers. Comments? Single action on a revolver usually gives a pretty decent trigger pull. When Angie and I took our safety class they wouldn't let us shoot revolvers single action, said it wasn't safe to put the hammer back down... I don't have a ton of revolver experience but I've got a Hi-Standard .22 semi-auto I've put thousands of rounds through. Its got a nice trigger and shoots way better than I can. -Curt From: G Mann <g2ma...@gmail.com> Subject: Re: [MBZ] OT Revolver vs. Semi-Auto Date: January 25, 2018 at 10:57:25 PST To: Mercedes Discussion List <mercedes@okiebenz.com> Shot placement is a function of Grip, and Trigger finger position. I'll take bets the revolver you use fits your grip better, and the semi auto, you have not focused on "proper grip".. _______________________________________ http://www.okiebenz.com To search list archives http://www.okiebenz.com/archive/ To Unsubscribe or change delivery options go to: http://mail.okiebenz.com/mailman/listinfo/mercedes_okiebenz.com
