Have we hit a time warp and returned to 1978 or something? I don't remember very much doubt amongst the scientist at Forestry Canada when I was working there as a post-doc in 1990. When I was an undergraduate in the late 70's there was considerable discussion about whether man made climate change was real, but by the late 80's the people doing research and looking at data were completely convinced. By data, not religious exhortation or indoctrination.
