Dwight,

I'm very happy with my Scosche magnetic / suction cup mount. The mount uses
a suction cup to attach to the windshield, then I glued the thin steel
plate to the back of my phone's OtterBox case with Shoe Goo. The plate on
the phone case is held to the mount by magnetic attraction. I've tried
several other car mounts, this is the best by far. Very fast to mount /
remove the phone, magnet is plenty strong to hold the phone in place on
rough roads, suction cup is holding up very well about three years after
purchase.

Bought mine at Wally World, Amazon also has them:

I liked the Scosche mount so much that I also bought their other cell phone
accessories like the cigarette lighter USB adapter and some charging
cables, and the quality really is very nice.
