I’m really picky about phone/iPod, etc., sort of mounts. I want something that
integrates with my car and isn’t some cheesy suction cup on the
windshield/hanging from my AC vents sort of thing.

So I found a really nice, but not cheap, mount that is custom made for my car
from these guys:

http://www2.kudausa.com/

It matches my interior leather and mounts right on to the side of the console,
like it was a factory install. As this is just a platform of sorts, I found an
inexpensive claw or clamshell sort of holder that holds my phone in place while
I drive.

The mount company has a presence on eBay, but if you want a specific color
besides the basic colors they offer they have to create an auction for you.
They do match Mercedes interior colors. Mine matches the gray leather on my
console perfectly.

I can take a picture and post it later today if anyone wants to see what I’m
talking about.
