Stopped by the local gun shop, spent some time with the owner’s husband (SHE 
owns the store) and he had a number of 10/22 Rugers.  The one I liked the most 
was the target with the bull barrel.  Heavy, but an absolutely beautiful 
firearm:

Hmm.  I don’t see it on Ruger’s web sight, I was really impressed.  Now to 
decide whether I want to plink or shoot targets….

They had a bunch of the Henry’s, too, but he said he wouldn’t recommend one 
unless I was looking for a “legacy” sort of rifle.  I’m not buying it to hand 
it down to my kids when I kick it….
