I was camping, a Coleman Lantern friend who also owns the Whately Engine Museum, had a gathering. We camped and lit lanterns and watched old engines run. He calls his big engines "Medium sized" but I consider them HUGE. 4' flywheels aren't uncommon... I've got video of him starting a "semi-diesel" which is really a hot bulb diesel. To start it you put a big torch on what looks a like a trailer hitch ball. The "injector" drips fuel onto the shaft the ball is part of inside the cylinder and "vaporizes" which is maybe a generous term, the fuel. That one blows smoke rings when its running... I'll post some pictures and video once I get them ready. -Curt
