It's been widely used, I just don't know if MBZ used it. 
On the one hand, it'd be nicer to actually know your tire pressure from inside 
the car.
OTOH, there aren't any transmitters to replace when the batteries die.

AS my memory slowly kicks in...
I seem to remember Kaleb buying a W164 (GL?) from CarMax and making them eat a 
few thousand dollars of dealer suspension work right after he bought it.

I get it now, it has active curvelights on right and driver sides.
