The test kit is supposed to turn blue when you expose it to meth. It's not all that reliable in doing that, but it does reliably turn blue when you expose it to...blue food coloring. The substance in question was a huge plastic bag of blue cotton candy, for crying out loud. But the best part, after the testing was complete two months later, the persecuting attorney's office kept her in jail for another month before they decided to cut her loose for lack of evidence.
