When we were looking at trucks back in '14 we drove a Nissan Leaf. It was a fun car but not a replacement for a 4wd truck. When Angie's Golf rusts away I may reconsider the idea. The new Leaf has greater range and isn't anywhere near as ugly as the old one. EVs are fun because of 100% torque at 0 rpm, they get right up but you've got to have the right usage profile. Angie commutes 10 miles each way, even in the winter it'd be a good choice. Maybe a better choice than a diesel as it'll have heat right away. -Curt
