Nice!After much farting around I got rid of the '98 Jetta today. A friend is
taking it, he claims he's going to weld new rockers into it and drive it. More
power to him...Then the big process of getting the licensing. The title arrived
from VW USA, more proof that this is a resold "buyback" car. The registry was
waaay backed up. Apparently their computers had been down earlier in the day.
Spent about 2 hours there, it'd have been worse tomorrow since its Friday.
Tomorrow I'll get inspected which should be a cakewalk and that should be that.
Its got an appointment with the paintless dent guy a week from Saturday for a
tiny little crease. If it were just me I'd forget about it but the dealer is
paying...
