I sent out a message for pricing for my 1990 Mercedes 300E a fews weeks ago and after research and feedback I am putting it up for sale at $5,500. I live in Hawthorne, New York 10532. It's in Westchester County 15 miles north if New York City. If anyone is interested or knows someone who might be please send me an email. Hi All, I am looking to downsize my Mercedes hobby cars and sadly looking to sell my 1990 300E (Smoke Silver) w/110K. I am trying to determine a price range so I am reaching out to the group for some help. The car was purchased w/87K from the second owner in October of 2003. He was a college professor & fellow Mercedes enthusiast who bought it Certified Pre-Owned from a New Jersey Mercedes Dealer. The car has no accidents or rust and he kept great records. In addition to routine maintenance the following work was done by him: 08/01/97 w/57K- Due to a head gasket oil leak the Princeton Motors (Mercedes Dealer under warranty) replaced the head gasket, valves, timing chain, tensioner, thermostat etc. 01/15/98 w/62K - Mercedes Dealer replaced water pump under warranty. 01/29/98 w/63K - Mercedes Dealer replaced radiator under warranty. 07/31/03 w/86K - Mercedes Dealer converted the AC to R134. I was not a big fan of the conversion but the AC has worked great over the years! The original owner was an Electrical Engineer and added European headlights and switched the wheels to 1991 Genuine Mercedes wheels he preferred. I have detailed records. I drove the car only 25K in the 16 years I owned it and have many extra parts. I have done a little research and finding a price is difficult with a price range according to condition.
