Any fool can tow 35k pounds. It takes a bigger truck than that to get it stopped when someone cuts you off though. There is no federal standard so they can say what they want on ratings and ads. Always give those 5th wheel pickup truck car hauler guys a wide berth. Their brakes are piddly compared to a single axle semi tractor.
