Guy says: "It would make a clunk sound when he would shift into reverse and then it finally went. I think it's linkage broken of into the bell housing. It makes a big racket when you try to put it into gear."
Sounds like a torque converter is somehow munched. Never seen inside of one of these, is there anything else it could be? I'm not sure what linkage would be in there, maybe some kind of sprags that let go?
