I'm actually reminded of last summer talking to a Canadian friend who is a gun owner. He mentioned something about getting a firearm shipped to his house. "Wait a tick, you can do that?" Apparently you can.
In retrospect I don't think I asked if it was because of Canada's national gun registry or whatever. He did mention that if he took his AR-15 out in public, like had it in his car not locked up with the ammo in a different box, I don't even remember all the strict measures, he'd go to jail. Buuut he had another black, plastic gun in .223 that was basically the same as an AR-15 without actually being an AR-15 that he could get away with all sorts of foolishness with. Apparently Canadian lawmakers are just as dumb as those in the USA. Which is actually kind of comforting in a way... -Curt On Tuesday, July 16, 2019, 11:46:38 AM EDT, Randy Bennell via Mercedes <mercedes@okiebenz.com> wrote: On 15/07/2019 10:50 PM, Buggered Benzmail via Mercedes wrote: > I’ll probably be sore in the morning but right now Mr Basil Hayden is >ministering my aches. > > > > > > --FT That would be a bad idea in Canada now. Thanks to our wonky Liberal government, the police can now come to your house hours after you have driven and demand a breathalyser sample. So, if you have a couple of drinks at home and that puts you over the allowable limit, even if you were under the limit when you last were behind the wheel, you will be charged with impaired driving. _______________________________________ http://www.okiebenz.com To search list archives http://www.okiebenz.com/archive/ To Unsubscribe or change delivery options go to: http://mail.okiebenz.com/mailman/listinfo/mercedes_okiebenz.com _______________________________________ http://www.okiebenz.com To search list archives http://www.okiebenz.com/archive/ To Unsubscribe or change delivery options go to: http://mail.okiebenz.com/mailman/listinfo/mercedes_okiebenz.com
