The antenna was broken on the SL when I got it so I bought another one off The Bay and stuck it down in the hole and pushed the plastic extender bit in. The motor doesn’t work apparently which is ok for now. It has a really nice Alpine head unit in it, music sounds really good so it is installed well in that regard. Maybe the motor is bad or not hooked up. Whatever.
But the antenna just doesn’t pull in radio stations very well. I’m wondering if there is some other way to get it in there for it to work right. Some way to connect the metal part to whatever is in the antenna unit?
