All this discussion about the temperature displays is very
interesting. I
guess the subject line was not descriptive enough for anyone, ie:
where is
the LCD for the outside temperature located in the 124 dash? Or any
model for
that matter! Is it near the bottom, left or right, by the mirror?

That's where they all are, excepting the analog-dial SL versions.
Up 'til whenever they might have changed it in the 90's.
