When I went to take out the 4 bolts holding the plate that the rear
trans mount bolts to, the captive nuts spin. There does not appear to
be a way to hold the captive nuts. Anyone BTDT?
I guess I will have to grind off the bolt heads, but then I don't know
how to get the old bolts out and replace the captive nuts, or build some
new captive nut system.
This is the trans mount plate that bolts up to the body, with fore/aft
slots in the body.
