Just take off the passenger side under dash panel and it comes out with like 3 screws. The brushes wear a groove in the rotor or whatever it is called and lose continuity. A cheap test is to push up on the exposed axle from below with a screwdriver handle. It moves the rotor enough to make contact and the motor will start to spin if that is the issue.
