I have heard about 2-3 flaring, not sure if that's the same as hanging, being fixed by replacing the K1
Shouldn't be. The classic description of flaring is that the engine revs up more than it ought to during a shift. The RPM is what is flaring up, in other words. A hanging shift is just that. -- Jim
