BTW, is that E500 the W124 MB worked with Porsche on? They're
incredible cars I'm told...

between the Neg Term and the the disconnected neg cable - the light was on full

My next step to to disconnect the wiring (B+ maybe ??) on the Alternator to

I need to test it some more - but it's a new battery, I can charge it to ~13.4V,
disconnect the charger and connect the + & - cables, attach my DMM and I can
watch the V's drop .04v every 2-4 seconds. Last time I checked it, I think it
stopped draining when it go to ~10 Vs if that tells us anything? Maybe it's a DOA?
I'm going to take the battery back to the store and have it tested on the off
chance it's a bad battery. What else can I check and which wire do I
disconnect on the Alternator?
