I see a lot of wishful thinking in this response. "Will be negligible" really 
means "We're going to find out".
There are birds that migrate offshore, oil rigs get hummingbirds...

You all seem to be missing the big picture.  Renewables growth means less
need for burning fossil fuels.  This will reduce emissions, though not 100
percent all at once.
