Repeat after me:  "Buy the Cummins.  Buy the Cummins.   Buy the Cummins"

As Jim said, the inline six design is easier to service than the vees,
and it's simply the best overall design out there.  I wasn't impressed
with Dodge's build quality or body integrity, but that engine was a
real gem.  I agree that a Ford body with a Cummins engine would be the
best combination to live with on a day-to-day basis.
