Rusty shows it for $41.  Looks like the hardest part of putting it in is
just running the cable down the back of the block.  Think I will take the
connector off one end of the cable, attach it to the old one, and pull it
through.  (Why do they have to make these things so difficult?)


If the tach works, the engine speed sensor works!! Check the overvoltage relay. If it fails, the signal to the KLIMA and to the tach and to the EDS (to control idle) may all be interrupted. That's happened on several of my cars (had to replace the overvoltage relay to get the idle control, tach and AC to work.
