This thread started with a joke about appreciating the revealing dress of a girl on the link. All of us realize that the eye thing was a joke. It is also more than true that some of the greatest wealth also is there [my missionary friend who had seen the RR pushed to the side of the road and abandoned], and some of the greatest shows of wealth [think I saw a Enzo or two in the video]. OTOH - US corporate folks making mega-millions here can also do some pretty strange stuff that would not seem normal to the rest of us [who like drive a 20+ YO Benz]. I think the Ferrari stretch limo [located in CA] fits into that category. My FIL supplied all the furniture for Chris-Craft some year ago. He usually had a couple of 100'+ yachts for Mid-East buyers who wanted him to keep them for a year as a shake down cruise. Not something that most of us would consider even if we had the $$ for a 100'+ yacht. Richest guy I knew had just purchased a fleet of cruise ships. He drove a King Car rental used car [wife said the SL was too hard to grocery shop with]. Dad ignored the 100' yachts and spent his time on a 25' pontoon boat. A lot of the use and showing or not showing wealth is cultural. We have all thought about it, but we do not really know what we would do with a $ million/billion $ bank account until we have one.
