Seattle and socialist Washington State just recently bumped up the registration
fee on EV and hybrids due to the lack of revenue from emission testing and gas
taxes. One favored solution is to tax per mile driven. I can picture
odometers being spun backward wholesale. Somebody will figure out how to hack
the computers to make that happen.

The above lays out just how off base the ecological claims of electron cars may
be. An effective $35 savings that engenders $15k in public subsidies to
promote the narrative. I do not think the Golden State will be handing out
cash to purchasers of the battery cars. Time for the true cost of purchase and
ownership to no longer be subsidized by the public at large.
