Kaleb, When I had cracked ribs during the 80s, the Dr. gave me some mild pain pills and a wrap for my ribs and chest to limit my movement and protect against any coughing or heavy breathing. It took me 3-4 weeks to fully recover. It hurt to breathe deep, it hurt to cough, and it hurt to make any sudden movements, especially bending over. So, take care and relax. I don't know if your upcoming travel is a good idea, might be worth a Dr. visit for a medical opinion on that. Best Wishes, Roger
