Yeah, I know, but I’m not looking for a project, I’m looking for something with lower miles that needs a good Martha’ing and some basic maintenance and be ready to make a 1200 mile trip without incident. I don’t need to shuttle a car until the end of November, but if I get something now I can use it as a DD and be comfortable that it’s in good running condition and won’t need additional work to make it bulletproof.
There are some potential project cars on the current market, but between the crappy weather (heat) here and the limited amount of time I have to wrench right now they just don’t make good sense.
