I agree, I figure I'm fortunate that the receiver for Sirius/XM still works (is supported) on my 2010 Dodge RAM. Which reminds me, I'm pretty salty about Google not just dropping support for Google Play Music but then turning the dang app off completely. I detest YouTube music which seems to revolve around my streaming music. I spend an awful lot of time out where streaming isn't an option and I've got a bunch of music in my phone. I also download podcasts, Play Music had a "Last added" function which would automatically sort my music by the order it was added. YouTube Music can't even sort by date added if I ask it to. I finally discovered there is a music player built into Files that works well for podcasts. VLC works well for MP3. -Curt

It includes XM satellite radio, but it doesn't work. Why? Whatever protocol that Sirius/XM used in 2009 they no longer use today. So it's useless, and can't be "repaired" because the breakage is an external dependency. Same thing is very likely to happen with built-in satnav, phone integration software, etc. At some point, you'll be faced with either a forced software upgrade for $$$, or "no longer supported." I don't want that stuff in my car.
