This is why I belong to the RWF FB Marketplace group for a nearby development. Rich people’s trash/cast offs are usually pretty nice stuff.
We scored a beautiful Kincaid cherry dining room table for the hacienda in Indiana a few weeks ago for $150. Ended up spending more on new chairs for it than the table, but it’s really nice and has two leafs (leaves?), too, so we can seat like 10 people. I was hoping to score a nice headboard or bedroom set for our guest bedroom up north before we left, but nothing came up, darn it. I’ve scouted out similar groups in Indianapolis but most are on the other side of town.
