Having some experience in the matter I like this style the best for just walking around town: https://www.amazon.com/EONPOW-Traction-Crampons-Stretch-Footwear/dp/B07V2HCL4F/ref=sr_1_5?crid=3AFC5ZLV305QE&dchild=1&keywords=ice+grips+for+shoes%2Fboots&qid=1609880910&sprefix=ice+grips%2Caps%2C187&sr=8-5 They're cheap and do a decent job on ice. Our local Ocean State Job Lot usually sells them for $5-$7. I keep a pair in each vehicle and in the house.
