The traction control of modern trucks is nothing short of amazing. Combined with a limited slip my Dodge rarely breaks traction on pavement. -Curt

I have had the same issue in all the trucks I've ever owned, especially starting on an uphill. Only thing that really avoided it was weight in the bed. The tires might make a bit of difference, but probably won't be a cure-all.
