Prasugrel is a platelet inhibitor. Warfarin is a vitamin K-dependent clotting factor inhibitor (II, VII, IX, X). Xarelto and other doacs inhibit specific clotting factors (eg Xa and II). All of these factors and platelets play roles in the cascade leading to blood clot formation.
