Back in the day (say the 30s-40s) cities were THE desirable places to live and work. Cities had restaurants, entertainment, transportation, and amenities, like power, water, and sewage. Now the cities have crime, homelessness, high costs, filth, and incredible taxes. In the meantime, rural areas got electricity., internet, nearby big-box stores, and Amazon. Things have changed. I presume my 45 acres of trees sequester a bit of CO2.
