Hi All, I am planning to change the water pump and thermostat on my 2004 Mercedes Benz E320 4matic soon. It's running a little hot and the bearing is loose. I am in the process of reviewing videos and online instructions before taking on the project and want to enlist the groups input! One video suggested making a cardboard of the gasket to place the 15 bolts as they are removed due to the various sizes. 1 - There are two gaskets in the Laso water pump box, one rubber and one cardboard. Why? Should I use gasket sealer? 2 - Torque specifications for the bolts etc? 3 - Any other suggestions, videos or instructions would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance.
