Just to be a contrarian: bedbugs. Apparently they're making a comeback. Also, you have to consider the resale value in the RV calculus.
For us, though perhaps less roomy, the best on-the-road living value is via a truck camper. Full queen-sized bed. Truck can go just about anywhere. If truck kacks, you can replace it, and you don't have to pay the 'RV penalty' when getting serviced. Take along a toad.
