Just be sure that they draw blood before doing the finger exam. The finger irritation can cause an increase in the PSA, triggering a false alarm.
I Doc told me once that the colonoscopies reduce the chance of dying from colon cancer by under 10% and he thought that was a big deal. I told him to shove it. We've been using the cologuard tests instead. That colon blow-out is not without its own risks, not to mention the change of a perforated colon. I think the whole thing is a scam.
