145...that's insane! and I thought 125 going through Death Valley a few years ago in the middle of summer was bad ( actually it was nice and cool inside the van with both AC's cranking, but when we stepped out to take pictures the first time, we both scalded our hands on the door handles and I just about passed out)

With 145 deg air temp, can you imagine what surface temps were in direct sunlight????
