The things you use every day should be nice things. Penny wise pound
foolish. I never cheap out on shoes. Tires are like shoes for your car.

When I lived in Baltimore, I would go to the used tire place and buy tires
from them. I had a beige 87 LTD and I would get the take offs from police
cars. Those days are over, but if you want to save money on tires, that is
the way to go. UPS runs used rubber.
