I am having a problem with my steering box, and I am looking to replace it, if I can find one. The garage I have looking into my problem feels I would have to replace it with either a new one or a reconditioned one; if there is such a thing. Would this part be available thru a normal auto parts store, or should I be enquiring thru a M.B. Dealer? The mechanic is not a M.B specialist, and is not familiar with this part. Would it be reasonable to overhaul it, or is it a replacement situation?
