An oil distributor in Ohio said this a couple of days ago:
Diesel prices are straight up street price margin grabs.
Wholesale diesel is $3.89 ish right now.
that’s raw wholesale cost. No taxes - state or fed - added in. No
freight or margin in.
Just simply raw wholesale cost.
Major gas station chains will be cheaper than my wholesale cost.
