We've been gone for 2 weeks so yesterday I needed to mow the lawn. Pulled out
the 1965 Snapper 308x, made 1/2 pass around the lawn and had the blade bolt
come loose. I've been fighting this for awhile, the bolt is soft and has a
shoulder to hold the blade, the shoulder has been deepening which allows the
blade to spin free. Each time that happens I grind the bolt a little thinner.
Someday I'll get a new bolt, they're still available from Snapper.

Made 1/2 lap of the yard and the drive wheel fell off. This thing uses a
friction drive system, apparently one time when I replaced the friction wheel I
didn't get the bolts all the way tight and wallowed out the holes. I'd lock
tighted it together but yesterday that gave up. So I upsized from 3/8 to 5/16"
bolts, cut new threads and put that together with locktite.

Finally got to mow the whole front yard, then had a flat tire. Found an
upholstery tack in the tire. Fix-a-flat in the tire managed to fix that one.

While fixing the flat my air hose developed a leak. It's a cheap Harbor Freight
retractable system which had been weather checking for awhile. I covered it in
electrical tape while I finished the job but I need a new air hose. Suggestions
on where to get a new, quality hose? The Harbor Freight one lasted 4 or 5
years. Looks like for $40 I can upgrade to a "premium" Harbor Freight hose... I
think that's what I paid for the whole reel assembly last time...

Anyway, more details and pictures:
