The single stage paints are the best, as they’re really hard to damage when “correcting”. The roof of the ML550 is really nasty due to it appearing to have bene parked outside under a tree or something. If the weather wasn’t so oppressive in FL I would be hitting it with my high speed polisher and a lambswool pad with some really heavy compound. I know I can recover it but it will take some work, but I’m not looking to sweat 30 pounds of water out to do it.

Max found a vid of a guy just cleaning the solenoids and conductor plate of schmutz and getting it to work so I think that and new fluid/filter will probably cure it. I decided to do the paint on the hood this afternoon. The previous owner lived near the shipyard and did construction so the top part of the car has all kinds of crust on the paint. Did a 4 stage paint correction on the hood and it came out incredibly well for a 15yo car. Clay bar, compound buffing, polish and wax. 040 Mercedes black is my favorite color! The rest of the car will look amazing too. And I have a buyer! <image0.jpeg> <image1.jpeg> --FT Sent from iFōn _______________________________________ http://www.okiebenz.com<http://www.okiebenz.com/> To search list archives http://www.okiebenz.com/archive/ To Unsubscribe or change delivery options go to: http://mail.okiebenz.com/mailman/listinfo/mercedes_okiebenz.com _______________________________________ http://www.okiebenz.com To search list archives http://www.okiebenz.com/archive/ To Unsubscribe or change delivery options go to: http://mail.okiebenz.com/mailman/listinfo/mercedes_okiebenz.com
